Job QUALIFICATIONS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Seeking a Full time Construction estimator, preferably with experience in Division 9 Metal Framing, Drywall, and Painting experience in Commerical Construction.
• Also having experience with Computer take off type systems in general. We currently use Plan Swift.
• Base salary will Range between Fifty Thousand & Seventy Thousand, plus benefits depending on level of experience.
• Benefits include but are not limited to 9 paid holiday days off, Paid vacation days, Simple Ira Retirement plan with 100% company match up to 3% of total pay..
• Need to have an upbeat attitude with an aptitude for sales as you will interact with General Contractor customers to close the deal.
• 4 year degree or 5 years experience in the field is preferred.

• Price all major change orders that require extensive take off other than field memo work and give to Project Manager to be entered into Procore and sent to General Contractor.
• Work with and deal with concerns of field personnel through the Operations Manager, the General Superintendent, and Painting/ Finisher Superintendent.
• These concerns should be limited to the scope of work only, not operations.
• Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing Formulate cost break down from estimates and develop a schedule of values Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information in onscreen take off system Work with the General Manager to prepare proposals and review them before sending out prices.
• Once take-off is complete, compile all documentation in one hard copy file folder and Electronic folder.
• These should then be transferred to the Operations Manager at the time of award of project.
